America's Promise Alliance: Through increasing awareness, advocating for children, and engaging in a few powerful initiatives, America's Promise uses its partnership network to more effectively and strategically bring the power of the Five Promises (caring adults, safe places, a healthy start, effective education, and opportunities to help others) to America's children— enabling them to have the resources they need to lead happier, healthier, and productive lives to build a stronger society.

 

American Association of School Administrators: The mission of the American Association of School Administrators is to support and develop effective school system leaders who are dedicated to the highest quality public education for all children.

 

American Association of School Personnel Administrators: AASPA provides leadership in promoting effective human resources practices within education through professional development activities and a broad-based resource network.

 

American School Counselor Association: The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) represents professional school counselors and promotes professionalism and ethical practices.

 

American School Health Association: The mission of the American School Health Association is to protect and promote the health of children and youth by supporting coordinated school health programs as a foundation for school success.

 

American String Teachers Association: The American String Teachers Association promotes excellence in string and orchestra teaching and playing.

 

Coalition for Community Schools: The Coalition for Community Schools is an alliance of national, state, and local organizations in education K-16, youth development, community planning and development, family support, health and human services, government, and philanthropy as well as national, state, and local community school networks. The Coalition advocates for community schools as the vehicle for strengthening schools, families, and communities so that together they can improve student learning.

 

Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning: The mission of the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) is to establish social and emotional learning as an essential part of education.

 

Council for Exceptional Children: The worldwide mission of The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is to improve educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities. CEC, a non-profit association, accomplishes its mission by advocating for appropriate governmental policies, setting professional standards, providing continuing professional development, advocating for newly and historically underserved individuals with exceptionalities, and helping professionals achieve the conditions and resources necessary for effective professional practice.

 

Developmental Studies Center: The Developmental Studies Center (DSC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting children's academic, ethical, and social development. DSC Programs help build children's capacity to think clearly and critically while simultaneously deepening their commitment to the values of kindness, helpfulness, personal responsibility, and respect for others.

 

Educators for Social Responsibility: Educators for Social Responsibility (ESR) helps educators create safe, caring, respectful, and productive learning environments. We also help educators work with young people to develop the social skills, emotional competencies, and qualities of character they need to succeed in school and become contributing members of their communities.

 

Lincoln Center Institute: Lincoln Center Institute is the educational cornerstone of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. LCI has developed and refined its own distinctive approach to the arts and education.

 

MENC: The National Association for Music Education: The mission of MENC: The National Association for Music Education is to advance music education by encouraging the study and making of music by all.

 

National Alliance of Black School Educators: The National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE) is the nation's premiere non-profit organization devoted to furthering the academic success for the nation's children - particularly children of African descent.

National Art Education Association: The mission of the National Art Education Association (NAEA) is to promote art education through professional development, service, advancement of knowledge, and leadership.

 

National Association for Sport and Physical Education: The National Association for Sport and Physical Education seeks to enhance knowledge and professional practice in sport and physical activity through scientific study and dissemination of research-based and experiential knowledge to members and the public.

 

National Association of Elementary School Principals: The mission of the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) is to lead in the advocacy and support for elementary and middle level principals and other education leaders in their commitment to all children.

 

National Association of School Psychologists: The National Association of School Psychologists represents and supports school psychology through leadership to enhance the mental health and educational competence of all children.

 

National Association of Secondary School Principals: In existence since 1916, the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) is the preeminent organization of and national voice for middle level and high school principals, assistant principals, and aspiring school leaders from across the United States and more than 45 countries around the world.

 

National Association of State Boards of Education: The National Association of State Boards of Education is the only national organization giving voice and adding value to the nation's State Boards of Education.

National Dance Association: The National Dance Association leads in promoting and supporting creative, artistic and healthy lifestyles through quality services and programs in dance and dance education.

 

National Dance Education Organization: National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) advances dance education centered in the arts. To this end, NDEO works with artists, educators, and administrators in all environments where dance is taught.

 

National Education Association: The National Education Association (NEA), the nation's largest professional employee organization, is committed to advancing the cause of public education.

National Middle School Association: National Middle School Association is dedicated to improving the educational experiences of young adolescents by providing vision, knowledge, and resources to all who serve them in order to develop healthy, productive, and ethical citizens.

 

National School Boards Association: NSBA and its Federation Members are dedicated to leadership for student achievement. Their shared vision is a powerful, united, energetic Federation-an influential advocate for public education and a catalyst for aligning the power of the community on behalf of its schools and school children.

PDK International: The mission of PDK International is to promote high-quality education, in particular publicly supported education, as essential to the development and maintenance of a democratic way of life. This mission is accomplished through leadership, research, and service in education.

The Center for Social and Emotional Education: CSEE is an organization that helps schools integrate crucial social and emotional learning with academic instruction to enhance student performance, prevent dropouts, reduce violence, and develop healthy and positively engaged adults.

The National Paideia Center: The National Paideia Center improves the ability of adults and students to think and communicate so that each might become a good citizen of the world, earn a decent livelihood, and lead a good life.
