Subject: Supporting the Secondary School Innovation Fund Act
Dear Representative:

As a whole child education supporter from _________, I urge you to cosponsor the Secondary School Innovation Fund Act (H.R.2239), introduced in the House by Rep. Dave Loebsack. Over one million students drop out of high school each year, jeopardizing their futures and costing our economy billions of dollars in lost wages. Many of those students cite lack of engagement as a reason to quit, with this problem beginning even earlier in middle school. What is needed is a transformation of America's secondary schools from the traditional one-size-fits-all approach to digital, flexible, personalized, rigorous, and relevant educational institutions. The Secondary School Innovation Fund Act will help promote creative policies and implement effective programs that will improve the secondary school experience and reduce dropout rates, all while providing 21st century skills for all students. Please make a difference in our students' lives and our country's future by cosponsoring H.R.2239. I look forward to hearing your decision on this issue.

Sincerely,
