National Whole Child Resolution

Urge Congress to Support Whole Child Education

S. Res. 478 designates March as "National Whole Child Month" and makes a whole child approach to education a national priority. This is your chance to go on record with your senators and urge them work with you, ASCD, and our whole child partners to support a whole child approach. If you haven't already, send a letter to your federal representative urging him or her to cosponsor the House version of the National Whole Child Resolution.

Your letter will automatically be sent to your senators based on your full address. We encourage you to add your own personal experience, data, or story before sending.

As a Whole Child Advocate, I ask you to cosponsor S. Res. 478 designating March as "National Whole Child Month." The resolution also recognizes that ensuring all children are healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged should be a national priority and encourages parents, educators, and community members to support a whole child approach to education for each student.
